Closed Opportunity Leaves Estimates Open
Hello,
I noticed that setting an opportunity status to a closed/lost value still leaves all associated estimates open. It would seem to me that a lost opportunity would always result in closed estimates. I submitted this to NetSuite support and my question suddenly turned into an enhancement request. However, this feels more like a bug to me.
From my perspective, it does not seem logical that a close/lost opportunity would leave its related estimates open. I do not understand why leaving estimates open that stem from a closed/lost opportunity would be desired. Am I missing something? Does anyone have any sort of reasoning from their own experience with NetSuite where you would want the estimate to remain open? Such information would be very useful to me.
