Account Classification of operating expenses
Ok, this should be a simple/elementary question, but I can't get agreement on how some operating expenses should be classified. My search terms are too generic to find anything useful in the forum to help me determine which expense accounts to use. (any links to threads I overlooked will be humbly accepted :-)
I have 3 expense types I'm seeking suggestions for. This may turn out to be "poll", because I know opinions will vary.

What accounts are being used for Software license that are purchased, both perpetually or on subscription basis like Netsuite.
So far, I've been told to create/use a child account of one of the following:
