Item Kits or Groups
I am seeking guidance in creating NetSuite item codes, in particular selecting the right item (Kit or Group) type for a service business.
We are a service company that installs and maintains equipment such as security systems. We use non-inventory items for resale and services (labor) for sale and resale. For example;
"LAB" Sell-$100.00 - Service for sale
"SENSOR" Sell-$150.00 - Non-inventory item for resale
Now, NetSuite gives me multiple methods for "grouping, assembling or making a kit" of these items together.
So far I have discovered the following about Kits & Groups;
1) Groups
1.1) Groups have member items
1.2) The group price = the sum total of the member items
