How to sell used / refurbished items
From time to time a customer will return an item and we can sell it again as used / refurbished. Obviously we discount the price for these items.
Ideally I want to sell the same item (NS inventory item) so I can track the serial number history of the item so I know what work was done, who has owned it, etc.
I was told by NS that I can create a kit to contain this item that has the discounted price on the kit. And then we move the actual item to a different location using the multi-location inventory option and set the kit to only pull from that location.
