Set-up Inventory correctly
I'm new to Netsuite.
I have a detailed question about inventory regarding “Item Name/Number and “Display Name/Code”. In the demo I noticed the using the matrix item feature that the matrix code would be attached to the “Item Name” (i.e. “-BL” for a blue item). It appears the Item Name is the correct place to put the Item Reference Number??? And the Display Name is the Product Name to show up on the forms i.e. SO and PO. BUT – The Item lookup field in the SO, PO and Estimate forms show the Item Number only and not Display Name. This is fine if
