Proper way to handle item that never shipped on orginal fulfillment
What is the best way to handle shipping of items that for one reason or another did not get shipped with the orginal order, but were marked as fulfilled.
For example:
A customer orders 2 widgets. The fulfillment is processed for 2 widgets. The warehouse person doesn't look at the qty, and only pulls and ships 1 item. A week later the customer calls and says they only received one widget, not two. What is the best way to ship this item to the customer?
Do we just record a note in NetSuite and print the label in NetSuite? Or is there a way to properly adjust the original fulfillment and create another fulfillment with a new UPS integrated shipping label?
