Address Corrections and Validation....

We have alot of work to do when it comes to address correction and validation.  Does any one have experience with this?  We need to clean up our records and eliminate PO boxes in the shipping address(and add script to our site to prevent folks from entering it in the shipping area).  How can I import a csv to Update the shipping field.  I started but then realized that I can only put in one address and one address type.  I can't update by field such as the NS field "Shipping Address 1" which is a bummer.

Any third party address solutions out there?
