Creating Sub-Customers

We have a company that we have already entered in a long list of separate locations for.  We now would like to change it and have the different addresses changed into sub-customers for that main customer.  Is there an easy way to do this or do we have to put in the information manually?  Basically I would love to have all the different locations for the one customer be created into all sub-customers of that one.
