Using subitems- what will it do to accounting or other areas in NetSuite??
Can anyone explain what the purpose of sub-items are... or more correctly, what is affected by using sub-items. I'm hoping to be able to make our price list print on half as many pages as it does now as most of the items we sell are available either with or without IFR (inherent fire retardation)
So now, there is an XBG214 (non-IFR) and an item XBG214-IFR. The IFR items are 30% more. When we first setup, the system was much more limited than it is now, so we found we had to do it this way. What I'm hoping to accomplish is to have a price list that has a column for non IFR and another for the IFR item. Caveat, not every item is available with both options.
