Store Credit- Discount
Our company is rolling out a program where a customer can accumulate points and then use them as store credit. Our controller has determined that given the nature of the program - this utilization of store credit should be treated as a discount. Specifically, this is for our website where we have a third party conducting an integration with our legacy shopping cart and netsuite.
Does anyone have insight into how this is normally achieved?
We have discounts that apply before sales tax is calculated, but since this is effectively a new payment method - it has to apply after sales tax. From what I gather, you can't use two separate discounts at the header level of a transaction...that would solve our problem.
