How do I remove the Export Button for a user?

I have a new salesman starting soon and I do not want him to be able to export customer lists or anything else for that matter. I presume that I can restrict this function by Role but I can't see how to do it.

I do not want him to be able to Export to CSV, PDF or Microsoft Word.

Please explain how I can fix this.
