Email with attachments from external client

I create some invoices outside Netsuite which I need to send to customers / vendors as an email attachment.

Currently I upload the transactions into Netsuite via an import and to send out the invoices I then go into each transaction and create a message, attach a file from my desktop and then send it out - one by one!

Rather than doing the emails manually within Netsuite I would like to do an email burst from my email client (Gmail or Outlook) but if I do this is there any way I can copy it to the vendor or transaction record within Netsuite.
