WorkFlow Sent Email Messages

I am working on a Transaction Workflow that sends an email to a manager, that works very well, the second stage is what is not working, what I want to have happen is the manager to reply to the message and have that also be attached to the transaction.
My discovery: is if I send an email from the Trans. using email button the From address looks like : Tom Heideman <messages.6522286.2570678.11bddc3ddd@messages.netsuite.com>. I can not seem to get the from address to attach to the record, how do I set this up?
