Prospect / Customer Conundrum - Free Trial accounts
We've got a bit of a conflict between our Sales Dept. and our Finance Dept., compounded by a Development team that is trying to automate provisioning of services we provide when a customer makes a purchase. The conflict isn't with an actual purchase, per se, but when we create a Free Trial or Demo account for a Prospect.
Our current/old world, we'd set up an account with a Free Trial or Demo and leave it in a Prospect stage.. custom Status at a 25% probability. This works great for our Sales Dept. and they want it to stay that way.
