email campaign domain getting CNAME alias but can we point it to the "main domain! ?
Beginner on all things DNS and so forth so this is probably basic and easy once you learn and understand how this works!
1. We got a main domain www.example.com that is our regular website (not a NetSuite shopping site).
2. We want to send email campaigns that will use "campaign@example.com" as the sender name rather than campaign@bounces netsuite yada yada yada...
Now, as far as I have understood we simply setup the domain in NS and grab the Alias created -> go into our hosted domain and add a CNAME record.
When reading up on CNAME records everyone says that we cannot setup the cname record to point at our root domain e.g.
