Attach Custom Address Field (link to record) to Sales Order
Hello All,
I’ve just become my company's de facto Netsuite Suite Admin with little experience in the system, and I have a couple best practice questions for you. My company is starting a manufacturing division. We will be making Solar powered roofing Shingles and selling them to Roofers who will install them on Homeowners’ houses.
Our current schema is set so that Roofers have records on the Customers object, and when they submit Orders for each home, we’ll create a Sales Order record. Out of the box, Netsuite Sales Orders have Billing Addresses and Shipping Addresses. In all cases, the Billing Address will be the Roofer’s Billing address from their Customer record. These customer records will be set up in advance. In some situations, the shipping address will be the Roofer’s Shipping Address from the Customer Record and others it will be the Homeowner’s address.
