shipping estimator broken, NS says it is fine

When we edit a sales order from the web store, NS makes us re-calculate shipping and then it calculates a different amount than the customer paid when they ordered online.

Do others find that inconvenient?  We have to look for their emailed order verification to see what shipping amount they agreed to pay (if they don't have a cash sale record yet) and then we have to manually fix the shipping amount if we edit ANYTHING on a SO.

NetSuite says "Working as designed ... NO FIX planed".
