promo codes at checkout
can anyone help with this....
on uk version and applying a promo code. It discounts against the non vat amount but keeps the tax the same. I have tried having the discount item with vat set etc and no different. I spoke to NS support and they said UK law is that promo codes can't apply to tax or something.
I don't get it though. I apply a promo code, which reduces the unit cost of that item. However, the tax amount doesn't reflect the new price of those items?
How can promo codes be of any use?
This is another really urgent one for us. We have spent two months working on affiliates only to find that we can't give a discount to our affiliates to forward on to their customers.
