Alt Sales Column not Setting Correctly

Hello All,

I am trying to set the alt.sales column in a quote transactions.  I've tried:

nlapiSetCurrentLineItemValue('item', 'altsalesamount', '1');

and
 
nlapiSetCurrentLineItemValue('item', 'altsalesnetamount', '2');

but neither of these seem to be working.  Is this a bug or am I using the incorrect column name?
