Security Issue with Employee Restrictions
Our "employees" are both sales reps and support reps and have a Sales Center role with "self and subordinates only" employee restrictions. (Both Sales Role and Support Role is checked). Normally, as one would expect, they can *only* see their own Leads, Prospects and Customers (and the associated email and notes to these records). One employee found that by doing the following, they can see the email and notes of every person in the system:
• Go to Lists – Support - Cases
• Edit or view an existing Case
• Click ‘Customize View’ icon located in the Interactions – Messages tab
• Click ‘Preview’
• Select email from list and click ‘View’
