New Tab Images?

I noticed a significant slow down for about 15 minutes earlier today.  Once the performance hit cleared, the NetSuite tabs/subtabs had new images.  The new tab images were of a darker gradient, and perhaps somewhat more glossy in appearance.

The images stuck around while navigating a bit, but after clearing my cache and reloading they were gone.  I noticed the same thing happen yesterday while in our sandbox.  There was a significant slow down followed by new tab images and now they are gone. 

Has this happened to anyone else?  We are still on 11.0.4.  Are these UI updates part of 11.0.6?
