CSV import guides not matching the templates?

I am looking at the CSV template guide for vendors, as my template does not have some fields I need.  The guide lists the columns to AJ, but the template fields are different, and go up to AV.  I am pulling a current copy of the CSV guide right out of help, in a system on 11.0.6.

Can someone explain this?  I don't want to try and modify the template to match the guide, unless it is a last ditch effort, so if someone can give me a heads up, it would be very much appreciated.
