customer dashboards......

I cannot view a report snapshot on my customer dashboards and when I try to add a custom KPI to my customer's dashboard (sales by item customized report), it does not pull correct data.  I spent 3 hours on the phone with support trying to get this to work when I finally had to hang up but the rep was supposed to take a look at this and get back to me with a fix but I haven't heard anything.  (Issue #129067)

I need my sales teams to be able to view at a glance how many specified items were purchased by a particular customer.  I don't care if it is a report snapshot or a KPI line - I just need it to show up somewhere on the customer's dashboard.  Does anyone know how to make this work?!?!?
