Search Results being limited?!?!

When you make a search in my webstore it only shows 134 results... why is it being limited and why is 134 the "magic number"?!  Here are 2 examples:

http://www.bestamericanarts.com/Shop/Shop-by-Artist?search=glass
http://www.bestamericanarts.com/Shop/Shop-by-Artist?search=underforty

More than 134 items have been marked with "underforty" in the "search keywords" field. 

As a test in the glass results, when I removed the keyword "glass" from 2 of the items, 2 new items replaced those that were removed, leaving the results at exactly 134.  This is Issue/Case #668627, but Support hasn't gotten back to me with any explanation...
