case 708669 Packing slips
Here's our problem.
We need packing slips to have certain info on them for the customer. The most important of which is Pricing for the item as well as total amount.
My first thought was to customize the transaction form and put the price etc on there. It is not available as a default field.
Next thought was to make a custom transaction column with price. Unfortunately retail price is not available under item fields for this. So no dice there.
Next workaround was to use an invoice transaction form for a packing slip. This does have all the correct fields we need etc. And this worked fine, when it was time to print a packing slip, they changed the form type to a custom form that was based on an invoice rather than a packing slip.
