Transaction Import Does not work

We need to import a whole bunch of orders from a different system.  The orders are in two files, one with the order level details and the other with the item details.  Each order has a different number of items in it.

Netsuite customer support in response to case 748419 is that for every order I am going to have to create a different mapping because netsuite cant figure out that one order has 5 items and the other order has 2 items.  They showed me two ways to do it, but each method takes longer than just manually entering the orders in the first place.
