Defect 155257: Vanishing Employee Record

An employee record in our account "no longer exists." On Jan 5, 2009 at about 9:30AM ET, an employee record vanished while its owner was logged into NetSuite. The cause is unknown, but we know for certain the record was not deleted by any person on our account.

NetSuite doesn't allow a record to be deleted if it has child records, so the missing employee record couldn't have been deleted by normal means. It is the parent of a large number of child records, which are now orphaned. This is causing severe disruption throughout our system, as many of the orphaned child records are custom record types, custom fields, and custom entry forms.
