Google Affiliate Network issue - NetSuite removes VID param

We are trying to implement tracking for the Google Affiliate Network (Connect Commerce). This task includes placing a IMG tag onto the confirmation page in the Order Tracking Script HTML.

Unfortunately Google Affiliate Network uses a URL parameter called VID= for us to pass their Vendor ID to Google.  NetSuite also has a parameter called VID.

It appears that NetSuite is stripping out all references to VID= from the HTML in the Order Tracking Script HTML field. Why? I don't know. Unfortunately, this means there is no way for us to send through this VID parameter to Google.

Is there anyone that has a workaround/suggestion for how to get around NetSuite stripping out this VID parameter from the HTML?
