Defect: Shipping Charges Calculations In Error Using Multi-package Shipments.
SEVERAL PROBLEMS WHEN SHIPPING USING MULTIPLE PACKGES. THIS IS A IN-HOUSE PROCESSED SALE, NOT AND E-COMMERCE SALE. ANYONE ELSE HAVING THESE PROBLEMS.
1. Enter Sales Order with 2 Items each with multiple quanties. Each item is to be shipped in seperate box. First Line Item is for Qty 3, Second Line Item is for Qty 2.
2. Select UPS Ground for Shipper
3. NS requires we calculate Shipping Charges before saving.
4. NS calculates Shipping based on total shipment using single package and combined weight.
5. Save SO is required to move ahead. When Saving system automatically sends SO to customer via e-mail/fax with the Single.
THE PROBLEM HERE IS THAT IF SALES ORDER IS TO BE SHIPPED USING MULTIPLE PACKAGES THERE IS NO WAY TO ENTER THE PACKAGES AND RECALCULATE THE SHIPPING CHARGES PRIOR TO SENDING THE SALES ORDER TO THE CUSTOMER, SO CUSTOMER GETS A S.O. WITH WRONG SHIPPING CHARGES.
