Moving Transactions between Customers

I'm reviving the existing thread to see if anyone has come up with a way to move transactions to another customer without losing the referential integrity.

* this thread started in Aug-06 and died in Apr-07

We've got the same situation on our end where records were accidentally merged and we need to put them back where they belong. I've moved the sales orders and the references still exist on them, however, as soon as you change the customer id on the invoice that reference is eliminated.

Any current ideas would be helpful!!
