Related Items Layout Error in IE8

My related items layouts won't work in IE8. The only thing that I can see that is funny is that Netsuite puts the form tags around the entire TD. I've tried setting pixel widths for the table as well as eliminating margins/padding on form tag.

I have no idea why only the first cell is stretching like that and not the first cell in the second row... any ideas?
