Search feature too limited when picking webstore categories for a new item
When I create a new item, I have to pick a webstore category for that item to be displayed in. I often click on the category area and then use the search feature to find the category that the item will be display in. I should say that I "attempt to use the search feature" before I remember that it is useless. It just doesn't work.
If the desired category is "catalog > toys > outdoor toys > sports > baseballs", a user would think that a search for "baseballs" would find the desired category. It doesn't. A search for "*baseballs*" or "*baseballs" also doesn't work. It only finds searches that match the very first characters of the category string onward. So, to find the baseball category you would have to enter the entire string "catalog > toys > outdoor toys > sports > baseballs" into your search box. How useful is that? If I know the entire category string, why would I use the search
