Importing JEs prior to Opening Balance

I looked through the other Journal Entry topics and didn't see this mentioned so I thought I would ask here. We put in our Opening Balance a while back for Oct2009 period. Due to the rush of implementation and getting things under control we put off bringing in historical data until things slowed down. We've finished building our JE templates for a years worth of history and are trying to import them in, but it gives us an Unexpected Error. Is there a restriction to importing prior to your opening balance that we need to address or is this something
