Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

Duplicate Record Detection not detecting duplicates
Hi everyone.
We recently sent out a mass mailout (400 letters as a trial) to encourage people to register on our new website so we could collect e-mail addresses. We expected that we'd be able to merge the new customer/lead records based on name.
Turns out, NetSuite is not displaying these duplicates in the list under Mass Duplicate Record Merge.
Here is an example I set up. These two records are not appearing, even though I have configured the detection to use the name field. Is there something I have to do to trigger another search?
EDIT: I'm thinking it might be that the search is using the Customer ID, which has to be unique, apparently, which makes me wonder why NetSuite uses a unique field to search for duplicates. Doesn't make much sense to me.
