Will this saved search timeout workaround work?
I have a problem with a saved search that intermittently times out. A scheduled script that executes the saved search every night throws an error one every 2-3 days due to the timeout. I submitted a case back in November (Defect 190732), but the NetSuite QA team hasn't found a solution, yet.
I had an idea yesterday, and I need you to tell me if you see any negative impact that I'm not seeing.
Here's the line in the script that executes the search that times out:
this.searchResults = nlapiSearchRecord('customer', savedSearch, null, null); Sometimes when the saved search times out when I run it manually, it works fine on the second or third attempt. So my proposed solution is to keep trying the saved search until it succeeds. My revised code would look like this:
