Backspace key

Hi,

Just got a newbie question and searched the forum for an answer. Because Netsuite uses the web browser for it's interface we have a small issue when entering in the fields. If you forget that you are on a drop down field and hit backspace it sometimes then goes back a page. I can't seem to figure out how to disable this on either IE9 or Firefox.

Does anyone have a solution.
