2011.2 DEFECT: Rich Text Editor is Broke with IE9

It is very hard to understand how you can release a new feature that is broke when you release it.

The new Rich Text Editor adds some great new features, but unfortunately the Numbered List and Bullet List are now broke, and do nothing.

A Case was filed on 8/15/2011 during the Beta testing reporting this very DEFECT, but it has not been fixed in the Production release.

I'm running the latest updates to IE9: Ver 9.0.8112.16421
on Win7 Pro.

We use the Rich Text field extensively, many times every day.
And most of what we need to enter is in the form of a list.
