Defect 208834 - Inability to script the creation of Sales Orders in another Tax Nexus

edited Dec 3, 2019 2:52PM in General 7 comments

On 4th Nov, an eFix was released which totally broke the ability to create Sales Orders (via Scripting) if the customers delivery address was in a different Tax Nexus.

We are running an external website, and ALL our transactions are created by scripting - so not surprisingly this came as a massive shock to us.

Now we've had business blocking issues before, and although they're a pain, they usually get set as S1 defects and are quickly fixed.

However, this one is still not fixed 9 days later!
This has resulted in over 1,000 transactions failing to be created in NetSuite!

Any request for an ETA for the fix, is constantly met with an "We will let you know when we have an ETA", and we're still waiting.

Howdy, Stranger!
