What types of fields can be edited inline?

I've created a saved search with a check box field in the results, and I'd like to be able to edit it inline.

Is it possible to have a check box with inline editing?  Are there other restrictions that would allow inline editing?  I read in another thread that the field must be shown on default forms and must be displayed normal... I did that...

Criteria
Type is Sales Order
Status any of Pending Billing,Panding Billing/Partially Fulfilled
Main Line is True

Results
Number
Ship Date
Amount
Internal Notes (custom text area field, this is editable inline)
Custom Check Box (
