Estimates disappear

We've used netsuite since mid 07' and have never had this problem before. In the last two weeks we've had 3 customers email or fax signed estimates. When we pull them up in the system there is no estimate for them. Global search won't pull the estimate number either. Our estimators don't have access to the delete function. Any ideas?
