Chart of Accounts and bin quantity values spontaneously changing

edited Dec 3, 2019 2:50PM in General 1 comment

The values in four different accounts in my chart of accounts spontaneously and randomly changed without any user input today. Even more disturbingly, the journal entry for my opening balance makes it appear that the numbers were originally entered this way, which means that NetSuite is actually making adjustments to past journal entries on its own

Looking at the opening balance journal entry reveals that the numerical order of our accounts has also spontaneously changed more than 12 hours AFTER we made the entries:

Opening balance order and (fake) values:

1020 $10,000
1021 $0
1200 $1000
1205 $500
1300 $20,000

Opening balance journal entry order and (fake) values:

1020 $10,000
1200 $0
1021 $1000
1300 $500
1205 $20,000

The affected accounts have taken on the values of the accounts whose numerical order position they are now ordered in.

Howdy, Stranger!
