Advanced Promotions- fields not showing up

Hi there,
just installed the advanced promotions bundle. I have been asking for this for years and had no idea it was now available.

Anyway, I installed the whole thing but am unable to use it because the fields necessary to fill out for x and y are missing.

After i create a new promotion, i get the menu where I can select which type of promotion to create (bux x get y etc) but when I go to that form the fields to choose x and y are missing.

So when I fill in the fields that are there and click save, an error message comes up and says I must first select x before savings. BUT THERE IS NO FIELD FOR X
