Transforming Sales orders does not always grab shipping

We are using a script to transform sales orders to cash sales, and it works the majority of the time. Randomly though it appears to be pulling the shipping field from the item fulfillment, but there does not seem to be any discernible pattern.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be going wrong?
