Offline Sales Client - Has anyone had success with setting up and using this?

We have been trying to set the offline client up for two people with sales center access.

Their computers are running Windows 7 and have IE 9.0.
We can get it to download but it hangs up during a 'Browser Software Upgrade'  and never goes any further.

Does anyone have any insight on what the issue is? Please let me know ASAP.

PS - Also if anyone knows how to make sure and have the system download new prospects/customers each day (vs. previous day's download), I would appreciate that as well. These guys are making calls to new sets of prospects each day and we do not want the same records as previous day.
