Unable to change entity on transactions

hello,

I have a purchase order on which the entity needs to be changed. When I change the entity, the form tries to refresh and I see the new entity ID on the URL but the refreshed form still shows the old entity. I logged the values on a user event script, the nlapiGetFieldValue function for entity logs the new entity but the form still shows old entity. Tried without any client or user event scripts, still have the same problem.  Tried on the standard purchase order form, still same issue.

Here is the kicker, I can save the record and NS acknowledges the new entity and the form is refreshed after save. After save I can see the new entity, but the form is still in edit mode. I can't help but feel that something is broken and not at our side.
