Checkout failure - Android and Chrome

I have had two customers phone me this week to say that they cannot complete the checkout process. Both reported the same problem, they entered their credit card details and then they were sent off to the 3D Secure page of their bank to verify their payment card, after that process was complete they should have returned to the "thank you for your order" page. Instead they we back in the checkout with the submit button showing.

I have tried putting through test orders and they seem to work fine for me so I contacted one of the customers concerned and she said that she is using a Samsung Galaxy 4 and Chrome. Has anyone else seen this problem in the past and have any idea what might be the cause.
