Any way to make this formula work? (think its an easy one)

{custitem_weekavailable} -  to_char({today},'IW')

Really simple, but cant get it to work.....

custitem_weekavailable is a numberic "list" of week numbers.....

I just want the difference between the week number in that field, and todays week no.

What do I need to change?
