Gift Certificates- They Must be kidding
I just started using the new gift certificate piece. We sell hundreds of gift certificates a year and have been very eager to use this new feature. We sell them, To walk in customers, Phone order customers, and on line customers.
The way this was set up is ridiculous.
First problem is with "The recipient". I cant understand why they did not set this up to allow you to look up an existing customer and assign the gift certificate to them. If it is a new customer it should allow you to create a customer record for the recipient. If they want the gift cert to work like a gift card and be its own entity like a cash card then we need the gift card functionality- Like the ability to print them and then scan them into the system. If not then the Gift Cert needs to work
