Controlling single header from multiple external websites.

We have a single Netsuite account. We have two external websites that need to share the same Netsuite account. Does anyone know how I can control the header/footer based on which site I come from. I know this can be done because I've seen examples of it. I just don't know how it is done. Can anyone help me with this?
