Sales Role can not Save Opportunities

I have a problem since 2007 release, were now my sales people using my custom sales role (created from standard NS Sales Manager Role), can not create and save opportunities.

the only restriction I have on the role is:

Employee Restriction: self and subordinates only

Everything worked perfect before 2007, and it works if i as "administer role" create opportunities, but my sales team is screaming.

Any ideas
